About Us

Care to Care NC is a registered nonprofit organization based in Cary, North Carolina that aims to spread hope by providing care packages for hospital patients in the general Research Triangle Park area and motivate patients through their journey. Our care packages consist of a pair of fluffy socks, a stuffed animal, a sticker, a handwritten card, and handmade bracelets for both hospital patients and hospital workers. Mental health has become an incredibly relevant issue in the United States, with nearly 1 in 5 adults struggling with mental illness. According to NIH (National Health Institutes), hospitalization leads to patients having increased feelings of depression and anxiety. Creating this organization is our way of helping to combat poor patient mental health. We hope that by providing these care packages we can show patients that their community cares about them and brighten their day.
